Gali has a M.Sc. In Math Education and a BA in Mathematics and Statistics, both with honors from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr. Shimoni has been teaching math for the past 20 years with an emphasis on gifted math education. In 2007 he was awarded the Technion's Avital Prize for outstanding contribution to mathematics education. Today, he is a member of the national committee that selects the annual “Teacher of the year" award in Israel. For the past 18 years Mr. Shimoni has held the position of Head of Math Department in the Israel Center for Excellence Through Education. Throughout this time Gali focused on developing math programs for grades 1-9, and has been training teachers in hundreds of schools throughout Israel, the united States, and Singapore. In the last 5 years, together with Mr Zvi shalem, Gali develops math apps that help teachers teach math in more fun, dynamic and visual way.
Zvi has a B.Sc. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Together with Gali Shimoni, they invented the card game "Swish” that was sold over 250,000 copies. Over the past ten years Mr. Shalem has been developing programs in Math and Science for grades 1-9. These include traditional pencil and paper activities as well as computer applications. He has been training teachers in hundreds of schools throughout Israel and the United States and has extensive experience in gifted math education.
